Don't wear ties myself......turned down several good paying jobs
just because they required a tie. That is a personal choice and it
has nothing to do with the quality of the work I do. I'm good,
blank good as a matter of fact.

If wearing a tie was the difference between a professional
workmanship and or not so much then all those doctors who
take of the wrong limb or remove the working organ yet still
wear a tie in their office would be the results of what? And if
you can figure out what that what is then please tell me.

Ties mean nothing if fact they could be effective camoflage that
disguises a distinctively unproffesional from people like yourself
who say to themselves "Oh this guy is a pro cause he wears a
tie" rather than looking beyound the cover into the real quality
of their work/efforts.
