You don't give any specifics, so it's hard to say. Slower doing
what? Processing video? Running Photoshop filters? Surfing the
web? Since you're using an Intel machine, it's possible that the
software you're using isn't Universal yet, and is running in
emulation under Rosetta. Again, it's hard to say without further
information.

What is it exactly about your "corporate environment" that
makes OS X unsatisfactory? I've worked in many big companies
that had OS X and Windows machines sitting side-by-side
without a hiccup. Tiger's PC networking capabilities, in
particular, have been seamless and hassle-free. What problems
have you experienced?

I'm sure you'll have no problem unloading your iMac, because
they're incredibly popular machines. If I hadn't just bought a
MacBook this week, I'd make you an offer myself. Good luck with
that. Can I assume, since speed is so important to you, that you
won't be upgrading to Windows Vista?
