Why? Dell=Low performance & reliability
Most Dell systems score at the bottom of the benchmark race. That's a fact.

Most Dell systems are POS boxes built by a 2 bit cloner and arn't worth the cardboard box they are shipped in.

IBM is the best in the server area. Imagine calling tech support and talking to someone who speaks English. Imagine not having to argue with tech support for parts to be sent. Imagine getting someone knowledgable about the product to come and fix it. Imagine having parts in 4 hours at all times of day. That's what we get from IBM on out PC based servers (and our mainframes too). We pay for it, but they are the best of the best out there.

Dull can't compete like this with their crapboxes that they sell.
