...that Trinitron is not the hi-tech solution anymore and perhaps Sony should push plasma really hard and make every household equipped in it.
In the meantime, pushing some Wega solution on the market is not what cuts it. It smells obsolete.
I would also suggest Sony a better stylists for equipment (you can find them in Italy and France). Flashy silver cases is not an elegant solution. Chromes were looking good on cars of '50 and '60. Plain and simple cubes (perhaps bend and warped a bit) in black are almost always safe and stylish. Electronic equipment does not need aerodynamic to run on a street or in the air.
As far as PS2 did you forget about XBox competition? And now lawsuit about that chip used in PS2.
