sarcasm? how about pure egotism?
Mr. Cox's rants are indeed well-known here. The problem is that
he actually manages to get an audience and, unfortunately, part
of that audience falls into the huge pit in the road, his ego.
While he doesn't claim to know everyone, his "rep" ALWAYS is
rubbing elbows with the likes of Gates and Buffet (not Jimmy),
and Cox is never gonna get caught saying anything
complimentary about Apple, not even sideways acknowledgment
of innovation, which, if nothing else, is Apple's indelible mark on
the world and history.
