Can't, not the way they are going.
It won't be long before someone figures out the API for the flash card. In which case, it can be used as any other hard drive.

As long as the hardware is more or less computer based, it won't be too hard for Linux to get ported.

Infact, even if it isn't similar to a comp, its only time before Linux gets ported. Gamecube and Playstation come to mind.
