Redundant Array of INEXPENSIVE Disks!
"Gartner's figures refer to so-called redundant arrays of independent disks (RAID), machines that are set up to avoid data loss if a disk drive fails."

Mr. Ed Frauenheim,

Why do you repeat mistakes after Gartner or introduce new once?

RAID stands for:

"Redundant Array of Inexpensive Disks"

(not independent).

In fact, RAID can be configured the way that disks ARE DEPENDENT and so your data will not be complete if one disk is pulled out of the array.

Good luck in writing correct editorial.
