The thing I find interesting is that the article said quite plainly that the only thing it will do is stop "sharing" via the internet. It in no way effects the average users "fair use" rights, and yet all the posts are whining about it.

It would appear that some people are under the belief they have a "right" to pirate content and any attempt to stop them is "bad". Any thinking person knows this simply is not true and these people have absolutely no such "right".

Digital TV roll out has been hampered because the industry is afraid of the pirating, after all they only need look at the recording industry as the example. It's plainly clear there are low life pirates that will steal their content the second they get the chance.

ALL consumers are losing because of the actions of the pirates. If this change will meet the needs of the industry and not trample my "fair use" rights to view in my own home as I wish then I am all for it. The only people that would argue against it are those that are facing the loss of their pirating tools...
