#1. They are barely the #1 computer company. Trade spots with HP/CPQ quarterly.
#2. Intel may be #1, but they have brainwashed people into thinking they are best. They are far from it, and if anything, their products are substandard at best. (See P4, and P4 Emergency Edition, and the new P4 core which have worse performance than the processors they replaced.)
#3. MS may be the largest software company, but they put out garbage. Windows is the largest virus and malware delivery system ever conceived and has more vulnerabilities than Swiss Cheese (no insult to the Swiss Cheese manufacturers). Just about everything they have done has been stolen (Apple, Spyglass), or bought (MS-DOS) from someone else. Adding to that, they use predatory and monopolistic tactics to prevent users from exploring other options.
I have nothing against the wealthy, I am against substandard products, and that's why these companies are so poor.
GM is the largest car company in the world, but would you say they make quality cars? - Posted by: ITGuy04 Posted on: 03/05/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
