Do you believe they would pre-install them?
Come one get real. They don't do it now and as far as I can see they have no plans to in the future. And since Intel is building the laptops internet connectivity is not an issue. Hello! They have modems and nics that work just fine with Linux.

So nope no FUD only facts, unless you can post a link proving that Intel offers OpenOffice and FireFox as part of the standard install. Hell for that matter ANY major laptop builder out there... for Windows. I know that the Linux builders will and do.

This article specifically stated that Windows XP was loaded on a flash drive. So Linux appears NOT to be a choice for these Intel laptops. So again I think I am pretty accurate and correct. devil Unless of course you can provide links that these Intel Laptops in the article are coming preloaded with OpenOffice and FireFox.
