- We recently received some new HP9300 dual core Opterons as development tools for some new computers we are having built to run our real-time simulations. We were a little aprehensive about not using a big 8-way SGI as our main processor, as we have done in the past. However, after just two weeks with the HP's we are convinced that the new Opteron's will easialy perform real-time.
