What QC problems?
I remember recently that AMD's fab process was rated with the fewest flaws per waffer and the highest chip density per waffer than any other fab.

Someone argued that the Intel chips have a greater transistor density per chip and so Intel comes out on top but that was also found to be untrue. Per transistor, the AMD fab still has the lowest flaws than any other fab facility in the world.

So come again and tell me what I'm missing? Oh, you mean the AMD chipsets for the AMD CPUs! Ah, nVidia, VIA and ATi always seeem to make better chipsets than AMD for their own CPUs. True but that is neither AMDs bread, butter, jam nor jelly. nVidia works very closely with AMD anyway so that AMD probably does not have to even make a chipset if they don't want to do so.

Even so, with better performance comming from competing chipset makers, what flaws have been found in AMD chipsets? You can probably name a few since I have never used them nor do I know anyone who has. So make your case on that but AMD's CPU division can still bury Intel's CPU division and Intel's chipset division cannot survive without the CPU division.
