How does one find out about the best way to recycle batteries and cells?
Where I live, (South Africa), there's nowhere to dispose of these in an environmentally-safe way - they're simply tossed out with the garbage; and I doubt there's legislation dealing with this.
We're considering starting an organization to handle recycling; but nowhere can we find helpful methods described, so we don't know where to begin.
The suppliers of these products are the least helpful where such information is concerned. They "don't know"! - (and don't care)...
