Prison labor...

Not shipping waste to poor countries, I agree with. But we should definitely use prison labor. I happen to think prisoners should be made to work. And if the jobs aren't too pleasant, perhaps they'll think twice about doing something that'll get them sent back in after their release. Too cushy of a prison makes for wannabe repeat offenders. And that's one thing that's happening right now - many prisoners never had it that good. Yes, we should offer some educational opportunities while the prisoners are in there. But those should be on the side from a day job of hard or monotonous labor. If we make it a stark contrast, most will opt for the straight path and the opportunity for a better life.
