Who's better or worse
we had massive Gateway troubles with faulty components inclusive of the Western Digital harddrives, and very little to no Dell problems (keyboards and one order missing ordered floppy drives) and never a DOA from Dell, and always had grand hopes for buying IBMs but never purchased them once we started the Gateway then Dell treadmill, and not wanting to pay the chunk of change for IBM's warranties.

Worked on a small number of coworker's HPs and Emachines, and all of the home computers had some bloatload of OEM software - only the business machines came less bloated. So who's better.
