We've been using Dells for years
and had no more/no less problems then places using IBM or HP. They all get their componnents from the same places, HP had the same bad capacitors in their MB's, while IBM was shipping with the same Hard Drives. I agree, I would be happier with WD or Seagate vs Maxtor, but I've had all 3 brands go me, too.
