uh-huh, yea right
Sun's opportunity to avoid death is to rise
above the generic white-box Windows/x86 vendors.

When the only difference between the different
boxes is the label on the front, the winner will
be the (1) the low-cost producer and (2) the
company with the largest market share and mind share.

There is about zero chance that Sun will be
the low-cost producer, and they have no
market share or mind share in this space.

Companies that want generic Windows servers
are already customers of IBM, HP or Dell.
What would Sun have to offer to pry these
customers away?
