helps them if they support x-86 servers with Windows
doesnt make much sense to not sell Windows because its the server OS with the largest market share. They could sell more x-86 servers if they sold Windows servers and workstations.

Not supporting Windows just cuts into their sales.

Supporting Linux on x-86, will hurt Solaris.
