Yeah I guess working close at hand with Microsoft Systems Engineers and Engineers from companies like Dell would mean I get no information at all.

You just seem so quick to count AMD out of the game based on an Intel product that is not even released yet. AMD is not sitting still and they currently have a product that beats intels offerings and competes with Intels future offering. I am also sure they will have a product to counter act which temporarily may be updated versions of their current chip architecture.
