True. AMD has (had) a better performing product in the last 2-3 years. However, a cheaper price can sometimes be good enough but not for, say, gamers that want the fastest. You're not stating anything of a revelation here, are you?

Don't think so. If they have a better product, a better product sells at a competitive price. You're assuming intel has to build a better product AND price it lower than AMD. Not sure whee you get that logic.

True, AMD has ALWAYS had a David/Goliath following . Nothing new here. Comparing AMD to Apple is wishful thinking. AMD is no Apple.

Nobody is discounting AMD out and yes, the future always brings better products.

Gotta disagree with you there. AMD does NOT want a price war with Intel. I'm afraid AMD will lose that one every time. The good news for you is that Intel will not be allowed to launch their nuclear option with AMD.
