AMD has always
had good chips. I remember when the athlon came out it rocked. The only real problem was performance varied so much from board to board depending on the memory controller used. Thats why they brought the controller on board the chip. I just got a brand new athlon 64x2. I'm eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new board. With 2 gigs of ram it'll rock! happy
