HAHAHA. I carry a cell, no agoraphobia here!
Well, I didn't say that using a cell phone in moderation or with a hands free kit wasnt negligably dangerous. I carry one and use almost daily, for about a minute or two. Agoraphobic I am not.

The danger from using a hands free kit, using the phone in speaker phone farther away from your face, or using the phone only in cases of emergency is definately so small that compared to daily living, its foolish to consider. That isnt what this study was about.

The cell phone doesnt have an AED, it cant do CPR, and it cant buy your way to a better afterlife. It does nothing medically to help you. Also, what good do ICE numbers do for you medically? All they are is a violation of patient rights, you could carry a peice of paper with your emergency contact info on it as well. Most of the time in car accidents it is not the victims who call 911 anyways.

You can go ahead and call 911, and when the medics come I want you to say to them, "Thank god I have my cell phone, it saved my life" and they can tell you "You are an ungrateful and short sighted person, but thanks anyways."
