I prefer the Tivo. Why?
It's a purpose-built device that costs less than 1/4 the price, doesn't need to be patched on a regular basis, fits into my TV cabinet, does exactly what it needs to do without needless overhead, uses less power than the computer, has a simple and intuitive interface and, being separate from my computer, doesn't come to a screeching halt when I'm doing something that requires lots of CPU. - Posted by: OldeTimeGeek Posted on: 02/26/04 You are currently: a Guest | Members login | Terms of Use
