Conventional HDs have their place
In servers and major networks. It's a lot harder to swipe an internal drive than a USB unit. I would like to see a good-sized (over 20GB) jump drive that I could use as a full OS drive.

Meanwhile, I carry a 10GB 2.5" notebook drive in an external case the size of a cigarette pack with USB. Got all my stuff on it and I don't have to shuffle media...
