Mechanical drives, using memory sticks/memory modules is the future
They are using these hard-drives because they are cheap.

If anyone has used the usb/memory sticks, the functionality of these is unreal. I am using knoppix cd/with a memory stick and storing the remote access tools for citrix on the memory stick and configurations I make in linux on it.

Hard-drives are junk, they are error prone, break and are ancient technology.....
