because..
people are hard on Dell because Dell uses tech support from Asia and the Middle East, they dont use AMD, they use proprietary power supplies and sometimes motherboards and they are losing their roots as the company everyone once loved for their humble beginnings. They may influence Alienware in all the wrong ways and that can be anything other than what Alienware is doing now.

There are many other high end gaming rig companies such as Falcon-nw.com, velocitymicro.com, Aeoncraft.com, buyxc.com, cyberpowerpc.com
