Bust Buy is More Like It
This is strike 3 for them, IMHO.

First, their crappy "free magazine" spiel during checkout (as if the extended warranty pitches weren't enough) which, if a buyer accepts, gives them permission to give your debit/credit card info to a 3rd party.

Second, they would attract more customers (or that "high end" group they so desperately want) if they trained their staff in some basic knowledge and common courtesy. Arguing with a customer is never a smart move. Arguing with a customer who knows what he/she is talking about and is holding the proof in their hot, sweaty hand is just a stupid move.

Now, they want to find everything they can about shopper preferences. I'd recommend they spend the money on training and wages instead of on "concept stores" that already prove what any number of reports have already said. Hey, Best Buy, try Googling "consumer trends" or "buying habits", buy a report, and save your money.

I won't be making any more major purchases with them. Other big box stores have better prices and better service.

Even though the boxed set of W.C. Fields movies from Best Buy was at a decent price.
