Er.. NOT every professional NEEDS to have a supercomputer with an array of 512 processors to get their job done. The vast majority of the common folk out there barely scratch the surface of their desktop's (or even laptop's) capabilities with the average tasks they do - word processing, e-mail, spreadsheets, looking up contact information, etc...

Unless you're doing some major database operations or are doing scientific calculations (like making a real life model of the atmosphere) chances are you probably can even get by with 2 or 4 processors.

That's how.
