HP?s confusing CPU Strategy
1. They have their own RISC Chip
2. They cooperate with Intel (x86)
3. They bought Compaq (and ALPHA)
4. They sell the ALPHA-Division to Intel
5. They cooperate with Intel to develop Itanium
6. They now are doing with AMD in the x86 area

What?s next ? IBM Power-PC and Sun Sparc ?
Seems like the CPU "Zoo" has to be cleared up.
