Samsung sees opportunity in Vista upgrades
"For $250, you can take your home PC and upgrade it to Vista" with Samsung's package, he said. "Or you can buy a new one for $1,000."

I don't know where these guys were doing their research but their numbers are grossly inflated. You can get a new PC that will run Vista for about $400. For the $250 upgrade they should buy a new PC instead. They haven't costed $1000 in quite some time unless you are a hobbyist building your own gaming rig.

Anyway, its still impressive to see an ecosystem building around Microsoft's products.
