Nice spin job
I think it's unfair of the Roopak Patel to call into question the resiliency of "certain carriers." You'd be amazed at how one whacked system can cause trouble throughout a network. A badly behaving component can stir trouble no matter how much redundancy you have built into the system. Just ask Yahoo, or Amazon.com, or eBay, or CNN...

However, I love how Level 3 spins it with this sentence: "We are investigating the cause of the problem, which is fully resolved at this time."

In other words: Oh, we're still trying to figure out the cause, but we already fixed it. What? And here I always thought you had to identify a problem before you could fix it!
