4. Intel has lost some market share because people who are in ?the know?, which is a reasonable number of the computer purchasing public, now look to AMD for a CPU because they are the better processor, even if often a little more expensive then a comparable Intel model.

To this I would add:
4a.) AMD's top chips ATE Intel's best for lunch in recent benchmarks. It was bad news for Intel. Very BAD. So much so that AMD's SLOWEST chip tested beat the FASTEST Intel chip more often than not. This is big news. People are listening. People are becoming more educated and they're buying more AMD. Intel's in big trouble.

The big question here is would someone really want to buy an Intel based box just because it's a bit cheaper or will they want to spend their duckets on a better platform?
