Price worries for AMD? Ludicrous!

Money isn't a fight for AMD. Technology is!

I seldom do market analysis. What I can say, though, is that these people who use the conventional thinking of dropping prices to sooth market losses, or whatever the hell it is, are taking the specifics of the situation way too bluntly.

If these analysts had any idea of the differences in the technology involved between these two companies, they would know, in the first place, why AMD is doing so strongly against it's competitor. Who, by the way, is vastly larger than AMD itself.

One: The server segment for both these companies is what makes the bulk of their revenue.
Two: AMD has slashed prices of up to 60% on some of their newest, most popular, chips. Namely, Opteron Dual Core processors.

Do some analysis on the actual chips themselves and you'll see why these price wars are already won by AMD.

Oh yea, did I mention the bulk of their capacity is sold out for the rest of 2006 by the likes of HP, SunMicro, and Lenovo? ... AMD has no price worries! They sell out EVERY QUARTER!
