Isn't this more like Intel snows the media - again?
Twice every year we get the same old song and dance how Intel is the greatest thing since sliced bread and how they are #1 (perhaps at shilling), and how the world can't live without their JIVE products, and how they will bury AMD and all the Asian chipset makers, etc. Then when the smoke and mirrors are gone, we see the SOS, inferior, over-priced, over-hyped, uncompetitive products. This has been going on for at least (7) years.

I realize the sheep have no clue and rush out and but the Intel crap because they are clueless. It's just so amazing the media as a group has no clue how they are manipulated at every IDF. If 1/10th of what Intel spews as the gospel were actually true, they wouldn't be losing market share by the boatload in ALL market segments and they wouldn't be missing their down graded sales projections again this quarter and they wouldn't be so clueless and arrogant - but they are.

So one would have to conclude the media ain't very bright if they chose to be talking heads for Intel instead of actually getting the facts and reporting them instead of the Intel Spin.
