As long as...
I'm not a Lawyer, and I've never played one on TV, but is seems to me that if...

Cingular holds up their end of the Contract the same as AT&T did, and service does NOT suffer, then I don't think the signee's have a leg to stand on.

However, if service drops, or Cingular tries to change the 'conditions' of the contract due to the buy-out, then I think customers would have a valid right to complain, sue, etc... At this point they would not be getting what they contracted for and were accustomed to.
