When the IDF hype cloud fades
People will go home with the deep impression that all current INTEL products are junk, Xeon and Pentum 4 are hot and slow, hyperthreading is useless and will be killed, Core Duo is 32 bit, all crap. You will need to wait 6 to 9 months for the wonder chips designed not by the incompetent INTEL America but the smart Intel Israel. People will recall that INTEL's 1Q06 revenue will fall 20%.

Then it's up for AMD to show its hand.

However, according to INTEL's own numbers, Woodcrest, being 80% faster than PAxville 2.8GHZ, is not even enough to surpass Opteron 280.
