My hobby is 3D CGI. Currently all of my apps are 32 bit, though 64 bit is planned in future versions for some. I can't afford any of the Mainstream apps, like Maya.

Complex single frame renders can take over 30 days in Bryce, which has one of the slower render engines. Carrara and Vue are faster. Carrara is on a level with Cinema 4D (and cheaper), and is an all in one application. Vue is mainly a landscape program with modelling capabilities similar to Bryce.

All of these apps can benefit hugely from native 64 bit builds, since rendering is number crunching intensive and scenes take up alot of memory.
