Who wants or needs 64 bits? Gamers!
With games becoming more sophisticated, approaching Hollywood big-screen productions (Halo 2 anyone?), the need for more powerfull CPUs and systems will become apparent even if these players never go online for deathmatches.

MS must see potential with 64 bits, otherwise they would not have made a 64 bit version of Windows. There are also 64 bit Linux ports out there. Before long, games will be 64 bits, then graphic apps, databases, etc.

Then we'll start needing 128 bits!
