AMD will get a beating from Intel
Intel's worse offense of late is disappointing investor expectations. You just don;t do that. It's not about profits it's about expectations and they hate surprises. Their CFO should get fired.

On the other hand, AMD has done a great job and their P/E is some outrageous 100 or so vs Intel's <20. The bubble will bust. When your sales were 5 units and now they are 10, that's a nice growth. It gets exponentially harder when you reach 15% or so. My prediction is AMD will NEVER reach much less exceed they share of business they had with the K5 about 10 years ago.
Intel is comming back with a vengeance and I'm afraid the party is over. That explains the rhetoric and scrambling by AMD to pull in their new sockets and raise the Mhz at the expense of energy consumption. The 3 year party is over.
