Centrino was their last hope and AMD's Turion has stolen Centrino's lunch and more.

HAH. The Pentium M at 2.0 GHz is only beaten by the more expensive, 2.4 GHz Turion 64. The Turion 64 is in, what, eight laptops?

Intel's latest and greatest chips are duds to say the least.

Except for that little thingy where a 2.0 GHz Core Duo rivals an Athlon 64 X2 at 2.0 GHz, yet the Athlon 64 X2 consumes 89 watts while the Core Duo consumes 31 watts. Good one.

And I'm willing to take bets their late to the party chips for '06 & '07 will NOT run 20% faster than AMD's chips available when Intel's chips actually show.

Maybe not 20%... but I'm betting they'll be faster.

As usually Intel is talking thru their arses and they even published a Mother-of-all-FUD report for their sales people to B.S. customers with. Intel has fallen and can't get it up.

AMD fanboys are so fun to talk to. What do you call AMD's "Prescott survival kit?" Or the "Top 10 Reasons Intel didn't Participate in the Dual-Core Duel?" I bet you found those funny. But when Intel gives AMD ****, you get all up in arms about it.

Then what happens when Intel wants to play hardball? Oh, gee, AMD files a lawsuit.
