we all know companies are milking us

just like way way back when we had the 5 1\4 inch floppy - people found out you could do something as simple as use a paper punch to get double that data storage, guess what happen, the 3 1\2 floppy cme out that prevented this double sided use - rotflmao

there were even those that thought it should be illegal to do such things as paperpunch your floppies
