Well,
when i graduated back in the early seveties... we TOO had rough decisions to make. There weren't any computers... there was very little guidance... most blue collar schools, like I came from did not promote college at all. Factory worker, coal mines, truck drivers, military or college to study nothing.... tell me that isn't pressure. I took the route most avoided.. the military.. no one wanted to land in vietnam, so the job training was WIDE open, along with bonuses in combat arms... it's just the same cucumber, but a different pickle these days...

Lastly, I worked a normal 8 hour day job in the late 80's and early 90's.. along with FULL time school EVERY night... I got my 4 year degree in 3 years... yes, it was tough, but I did it...
