...they care that it works. But the average consumer is not going to spend a couple hundred more for a Mac irregardless of how much more stable it is...that was the point, not spending more for another Wintel box. Wintel boxes are cheap, and it's most likely what they're using at the office. If they know little about Windows, they most certainly know even less about OSX.
