Why should they understand
"Technology is a wonderful thing, when it works. Just as cars run reliably but lawn mowers never start, many people wonder why humans are capable of creating amazing technology but can't make PCs that average people can understand."

The average person has no need to understand. They just need a tool that works.

Much like the car. Most people don't know how thier cars work. They just know they do. When something goes wrong they take the car into the mechanic for repairs. Simple as that.

So why is that the average user even needs to understand how the computer works as long as it does what they need it to do.
