Paying to fix PCs.
I graduated from a technical school in early 1998, hoping to become a PC technician. Even then, I wondered if it was worth going $10K into student-loan-debt hell. The school primarily taught on Windows 3.1x machines, which was odd since I used Win95 on my home PC.

Now we have XP and Vista(s) comming soon. Plus, companies like Best Buy are looking for certified (COMP/TIA A+, MCSE) techs. I might be forced back to school just to stay up to date. It won't be worth it unless I can get a small student loan, or luck out and have a company pay for the trainning.

But then again, I may have to help people find the Any key, or explain how the CD tray is not a cup holder. Makes me wonder if it's even worth it anymore.
