What DRM?
There is no way in hell you would use this for music. This mic is for phones, laptops, and other applications. Who in their right mind would use a cellphone to record music? You might as well listen to it with a tin can. Plus, it's a mic. No DRM schemes, no conspiracy theory, just a mic. Mics have NOTHING to do with DRM. It converts sound waves to electrical impulses, that's it. If there's DRM on the recorded material, it was put there much later on by someone else.

Jeeze, chill out. Go have a cig and a beer or whatever and relax.
