DELL Support out of INdia
Let me tell you a story...

We got new laptops from our insurance company and they got them on the cheap. They where purchased as home use computers and a few of them failed. When we called for support man was it a disaster.

I kept telling the lady on the phone the laptops where new and all of them where the same and we have a few that the mouse would not work properly on them.

She insisted it was a mouse driver problem but that can?t be since others laptops that are the exact same model work fine. I humored her at first but got fed up and only after yelling at the manager for 30 minutes pointing out the logic that it was hardware not software that he finally caved and sent out new key boards for the laptops.

I know what you thinking huh? Didn?t you say the mouse was not working? Well after much investigating it turns out it was a known issue the keyboards where known to disrupt the touch pad mouse. The Dell service techs in India have a mandate to get rid of the home users and to never send any parts or agree to any service. It is clear that you can never buy a Dell computer for home use if you want any kind of support now.

You have been warned.

On a side note enterprise service has not changed.
