Of course AT&T and Cingular run GSM in the USA, but T-Mobile seems to be the biggest GSM network in the USA.
DO not confuse that with the fact that primary offer from AT&T and Cingular in many locations is TDMA.
They will even miss to mention to you that they have GSM, because they will not offer GSM phones in most of locations.
That may change as GSM and T-Mobile is picking up. Verizon dominates market, but how can you dominate some small market if most of the world uses different standard? It is just a matter of time when Verizon will release hybrid CDMA/GSM phone... and perhaps start drifiting towards GSM.
