I work for Gateway, and let me tell you, there is only one call center that gateway uses that is outside of the US/Canada. It is in Manilla in the Philipines. The only one that is in Canada handles some US tech support, but mostly Canadian customers. Now lets take a look at Dell. When is the last time you called Dell tech that you did NOT get someone out of the country? Of course people will complain about higher prices, but how do you think Dell makes thier prices so low? Almost no US involvement for customer management or manufacture. Huh...
