Lucky????
Since 1997, we've purchased or recommend for purchase some where in the neighborhood of 300 Gateway machines. All used in either schools or small business, all something than their budget machine --- I continue to try to specify Gateway, but recently have not been able to due to ridiculously low pricing from Dell.

Used to be that when comparing oranges to oranges, Gateway would always win both in value and pricing over Dell, HP, Compaq, Acer....

I still prefer Gateway - never have had difficulty obtaining tech support. Still able to talk with the support guys and gals. You can't say that about the others.

They do need to get back to what made them successful
